Hi everybody, I am installing an Upsilon 2000 UPS via USB adapter on a RedHat 9 and I cant make that the device communicate correctly. This list is for the Network UPS Tools (NUT) software, but this log looks like it is from something else entirely. The RPMs listed on rpmfind.net for RH9 seem very old, so you will probably need to compile from source: Then, since your UPS is not listed in the compatibility list, you probably need to try a few drivers, such as megatec.

UPSilon 2000 is mentioned on which suggests that the 'megatec' driver is indeed the right one.

NUT has its own drivers separate from the megatec.com.tw site that Arjen mentioned, and NUT was developed with Unix-like systems like RedHat in mind.
