Transformers is an animated television show that deals with robots in disguise; that is robots that are disguised as vehicles but will when the situation calls for it transform into their robotic counterpart to fight the other evil robots. In addition to wanting to be able to get the material to travel back to Cybertron, the Autobots also want to protect earth and all of the humanity on it from the evil that is the bad robots known as Decpticons, led by the villainous Megatron. These robots are ruthless who wants to take over the world and when they do get back to Cybertron bring their allies back and start strip mining the earth for all of its' natural resources, while wiping away all of humanity in the process of exploiting the planet.
The Autobots needless to say are not at all thrilled about it and are quite determined to protected humanity and stop the evil of the Decpticons in addition to trying to get themselves back home to their home planet. 3 decades ago The Desepticons attack the Autobots on Goo, but soon Galvatron arrives to reclaim his leadership over the Desepticons and to destroy the Quintessons. But they make a deal with Galvatron promising to him the certain Desepticon Matrix. Soon, the Autobots are rescued by Wreck-Gar, and Rodimus goes deep into the Matrix once more where he learns that the entire race of the Transformers is made by the Quintessons themselves who now want revenge. The Decepticons attack both Cybertron and Earth, but without Blurr, Wheelie and Metroplex' transformation cog, the odds aren't looking good for the Autobots. 3 decades ago Determined to destroy the Autobots, the Quintessons destroy their home planet Quintessa hoping that the explosion will destroy them too.
