64-bit Acer Card Reader driver needed I have an Acer Aspire 5051 on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit. All drivers are installed apart from the 5-in-1 xD Card Reader. Now I know theres a 64-Bit driver somewhere cos I had it on 64-Bit vista sometime ago.

Open the Device Manager same process they instructed to uninstall the drivers, then insert the SD Card. You may have to click Action and then scan for hardware changes. One of the previous replies suggested trying an earlier Windows version in compatibility mode.
I tried the JMicron driver from Windows 8.1, (under storage). I did not use compatibility mode because I did not know exactly which device uses the driver.
I just downloaded and let it install. I then restarted the laptop (HP 6570b). The card reader now works fine.
