64-bit Acer Card Reader driver needed I have an Acer Aspire 5051 on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit. All drivers are installed apart from the 5-in-1 xD Card Reader. Now I know theres a 64-Bit driver somewhere cos I had it on 64-Bit vista sometime ago.

Hi Linda, Thank you for being part of Windows 10. I appreciate you for providing details about the issue and we are glad to assist.

Try the following methods and check if it helps: Method 1: I suggest you to plug in the SD card reader and run the hardware device troubleshooter and check if it helps. Follow the below steps: 1. Type troubleshooting in the search bar. Select Troubleshooting.

Select View all on the top left corner. Click on Hardware and Devices. Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter. If the issue persists then follow the below method.

Method 2: Follow the below steps to uninstall the Universal Serial bus controllers driver: 1. Press Windows + R keys on the Keyboard. Type devmgmt.msc in the Open text box. Expand Universal Serial bus controllers from the window. Nulled php script.

Right- click on the drivers and select Uninstall. Click on OK on Confirm device uninstall prompt. Restart the computer, the drivers will get automatically installed on your Windows 10. Reference: Refer to the following Microsoft article on Windows 10 help & how-to. Kindly let us know if you need any further assistance with Windows. We are happy to assist you. Ok, found the solution!

Open the Device Manager same process they instructed to uninstall the drivers, then insert the SD Card. You may have to click Action and then scan for hardware changes. Obrazec napisaniya pisma drugu na russkom yazike. But you should see a PCI Device show up under Other Devices, then right click and select update driver software and search automatically for updated driver software. In my case it found the Realtek PCIE CardReader software and installed.

I now have access to the card reader and my pictures. Good Luck to everyone! I have been having this problem and have tried all of the ideas about reinstalling drivers that I found in these forums, without any luck. One of the previous replies suggested trying an earlier Windows version in compatibility mode.

I tried the JMicron driver from Windows 8.1, (under storage). I did not use compatibility mode because I did not know exactly which device uses the driver.

I just downloaded and let it install. I then restarted the laptop (HP 6570b). The card reader now works fine.

You can fix SD Card not working/not detected/not showing up problem in Windows 10 computers by these three simple methods. Method #1: Right click on Windows Start Button Control Panel Appearance and Personalization File Explorer Options View. Make two changes here a: enable Show hidden files and folders b: uncheck to disable 'hide empty drives' Method #2: Right click on windows start button device manager universal serial bus controllers right click and update all items under it. How to update: Right click on one item update driver software browse my computer for driver software let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer Next you'll see 'windows has succesfully updated your driver software' Method #3: Right click and UNINSTALL all items under USB in Device manager. NOTE: Just uninstall, DON'T DELETE! Uncheck the option of delete if asked! All uninstalled drivers from device manager without deleting them will come back atleast after restart!

After uninstalling, click on ACTION on the top menu Scan for hardware changes until the uninstalled items are back! Eject and reinsert your SD card and it should be working properly now! Please LIKE this video if this was helpful!
